Deborah Yue Honored as a Woman in Law Making a Difference
Gallagher Sharp's Deborah Yue has been selected by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Women in Law Section and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Northeast Ohio Chapter as one of their Women in Law Making a Difference. A select group of female attorneys were chosen for their contributions to the community and the legal profession and will be honored at event on November 6, 2014 at the Union Club. All proceeds from the event will go to the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Women in Law Section, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation. Debbie concentrates her practice on insurance, business, and general liability litigation. She represents businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in a wide variety of civil litigation, including first-party and third-party lawsuits arising out of motor vehicle accidents. She also counsels insurance clients and claims personnel on coverage issues, claims practices and the avoidance of bad faith, as well as businesses regarding contracts, entity formation, and other business issues. Debbie is very active in professional and community organizations serving as Chair Elect of the Amercian Bar Association's Diversity in the Profession Committee, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, the Board of Directors of the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio, the Diversity Committee of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Executive Committee of the Cleveland Asian Festival, and the Scholarship Selection and Advisory Commitee of The Cleveland Foundation, among others.
