Julie Juergens Appointed to CMBA Judicial Ratings Committee
The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association has appointed Gallagher Sharp's Julie Juergens for their Judicial Ratings Committee. The Committee participates in the Judicial Candidates Rating Coalition (JCRC) which consists of local bar associations and agencies who interview and rate judicial candidates and post the ratings at Judge4Yourself.com. Julie will undergo specific training, including implicit/unconcsious bias training, in order to conduct interviews and evaluations of judges and judicial candidates seeking office in Cuyahoga County.
Julie concentrates her practice on employment, commercial, and professional liability litigation, representing businesses and individuals including professionals such as accountants and lawyers, directors, officers, managers, and employees, in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts and before administrative agencies. She represents clients in matters involving a range of business issues including contract disputes, copyright issues, professional negligence, director and officer liability, and federal and state consumer statutes. Julie also defends employers and managers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and FMLA, ADA and FLSA violations, and represents employers enforcing and defending non-compete agreements.
