CMBA Future Leaders Maia Jerin and Joe Monroe

Gallagher Sharp is pleased to congratulate Maia Jerin and Joe Monroe upon their selection to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 2019-20 Leadership Academy Class, a 10-month, selective and highly-regarded program providing leadership and professional development.  Maia and Joe will learn from some of the area’s most accomplished lawyers as well as professional development consultants on their way to becoming future leaders in the Bar and the Cleveland Community in general. 

Maia focuses her practice on the defense of professionals in civil litigation, including attorneys and other professionals.  She also defends businesses, employers, and managers against claims of discrimination and ADA violations, in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.

Joe defends public and private companies, individuals, and insurance carriers facing litigation involving property damage, personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, auto accident liability, employer intentional tort, along with a wide variety of other civil litigation. He also investigates and defends commercial transportation accidents in the maritime industry.
