Gallagher Sharp is pleased to announce that Jody Perkins Ryan has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Jody is responsible for the oversight and defense of her client’s workers’ compensation matters. From the initial investigation to resolution, she not only handles the administrative hearings on compensability, extent of disability, occupational disease, treatment and wage issues, permanent total disability and violations of safety requirements, but also represents her clients when litigation proceeds to Ohio’s courts. Jody counsels management in various areas of employment law including hiring, handbook review, policy audits, training and investigations, OSHA, Medicare Set-Asides and ADA interactive processes, intentional tort, discrimination, termination, and wrongful discharge.
