Rich Rezie and Bob Terbrack presented “A Primer on Class Actions and Mass Torts” before the Cleveland Chapter of the CPCU Society at the offices of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management in Independence, Ohio, on Thursday, September 19th. The CE presentation on emerging trends in litigation covered the elements of class actions and mass tort claims on the forefront such as talc and glyphosate.
Rich focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and class actions, including defending insurance carriers against claims alleging bad faith, unfair claims practices, and breach of contract. His experience encompasses all facets of motion practice, post-trial proceedings, and appeals at the state and federal levels.
Bob is Gallagher Sharp’s Mass Tort/Toxic Tort Practice Group Manager. While a focus of his practice involves mass tort and toxic torts, his litigation experience includes commercial transportation accidents, particularly in the railroad and maritime industries, as well as auto accident liability and construction claims.
