Joseph J. Santoro

Joe Santoro joined Gallagher Sharp as an Associate in 1997 and was named Partner in 2004. He represents businesses, insurance companies and individuals in a wide variety of civil litigation. He also defends railroad companies in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, occupational injury, the FRSA, federal preemption matters, property damage, eminent domain, and condemnation issues.

Holly M. Olarczuk-Smith

Ms. Holly Olarczuk-Smith joined Gallagher Sharp as an Associate in 2003 and was named Partner in 2013.  She is certified as an Appellate Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association and has argued before state and federal appellate courts on legal issues in the Professional Liability, Mass Tort, and Transportation practice areas.  She also defends manufacturers and suppliers in asbestos litigation, and represents railroad companies in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and occupational injury.

Colleen A. Mountcastle

Colleen Mountcastle is a Partner in Gallagher Sharp’s Appellate, Mass Torts and Transportation Practice Groups.  She is certified as an Appellate Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association, and in her appellate practice represents clients in original, post-trial and appellate proceedings in the Supreme Courts of the United States, Michigan and Ohio. She also defends railroad companies, manufacturers and suppliers in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, occupational injury and product liability.

Sheila A. McKeon

A Partner with Gallagher Sharp since 1998, Sheila McKeon represents businesses, insurance companies, municipalities, and individuals in claims alleging personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death in the state and federal courts in Ohio and Michigan. A focus of her practice involves employer liability, employment discrimination claims, and employer intentional tort litigation. She also defends railway companies in matters involving rail accidents, FELA claims and occupational injuries, grade crossings, condemnation, and eminent domain.

Thomas E. Dover

A Partner at Gallagher Sharp for over 15 years, Mr. Kevin Alexandersen is the Mass Tort Practice Group Manager.  He concentrates his practice on Mass Tort litigation, representing refractories, insulators, foundries, steel companies, talc manufacturers, safety equipment manufacturers, safety equipment suppliers, electric companies, and railroads in toxic tort, intentional tort, personal injury and wrongful death claims alleging occupational exposure to asbestos, silica, and welding fumes.

Markus E. Apelis

Since joining Gallagher Sharp as an associate in 2008, Markus Apelis focuses his practice on matters involving general liability, transportation, and insurance coverage issues. He has defended public and private companies, individuals, and insurance carriers facing litigation involving personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, employer intentional tort, business disputes, and a wide variety of other civil litigation.
