Rema A. Ina Overview

Rema Ina is a Partner in the Cleveland office who works in the Employment Law, General Liability, and Insurance Coverage practice areas. She devotes a large portion of her time to defending employers in cases involving employment law claims including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, discrimination, and harassment issues. She practices in state and federal court and also represents her clients in administrative proceedings. In addition, she counsels employers on employee issues, drafts employee handbooks, and provides training on topics such as sexual harassment and ADA compliance.

Rema also represents insurance carriers in coverage and defense matters, and speaks, presents and writes on coverage issues, including data and cyber security topics.

Rema was a member of the inaugural Cleveland 2019 FDCC Ladder Down class for female leaders in the legal community. She is the Vice Chair of the OACTA Employment Law Committee and the Officer of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining Gallagher Sharp, Rema was an Assistant Attorney General representing the citizens of Ohio in workers’ compensation and employment lawsuits.
