Gallagher Sharp is proud to announce that twelve of our attorneys have been recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers®. We would like to especially congratulate Monica Sansalone on receiving this year’s “Lawyer of the Year” award for Legal Malpractice Law. The “Lawyer of the Year” accolades are reserved for one individual per practice area in each metropolitan region, based on the highest aggregate peer feedback. This designation represents a rare and distinguished honor.

About Best Lawyers
Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers® has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Best Lawyers recognitions are compiled based on an exhaustive Purely Peer Review® evaluation. More than 184,000 industry leading lawyers are eligible to vote (from around the world) and submitted more than 25.8 million evaluations on the legal abilities of other lawyers based on their specific practice areas around the world. For the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, more than 23 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in more than 80,000 leading lawyers included in the edition. Lawyers are not required nor allowed to pay a fee to be listed; therefore, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
