Overview
Linda is a Partner in Gallagher Sharp’s Cleveland office and a member of the firm’s General Litigation and Business Practice Groups. She defends corporations and individuals against claims of personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death. She defends employers against claims of discrimination (sex, age, and disability), retaliation, and sexual harassment in state and federal courts and before the EEOC and OCRC. She has investigated potential claims, drafted position statements, and participated in mediations and informal negotiations. She has also presented to employees and employers on best practices to avoid, and/or respond to discrimination and harassment claims.
Linda has an extensive background in disability-related claims stemming from years of advocating for students with disabilities and adults fighting for disability-related rights and services. She has appeared in probate court for estate administration and guardianships and has appealed Medicaid waiver reductions. Prior to her legal career, Linda was an insurance Claims Adjuster.
