Michael E. Hamper, III Overview
Michael Hamper is a member of Gallagher Sharp’s Professional Liability and Business & Employment Practice Groups. Mike is a former Magistrate for the Ashtabula County Probate Court where he oversaw a docket of over 15,000 annual probate filings for estates, guardianships, minor and wrongful death settlements, adoptions, and other filings. He coordinated and presented continuing education programs on probate law in conjunction with the Ashtabula County Bar Association. Prior to joining the bench, Mike was in private practice while also serving as Solicitor for the Village of Jefferson, Ohio. His experience includes probate, estate planning, real estate transactions, contracts, business formation, acquisition and sale, municipal liability, zoning and land use, and oil and gas leases.
